FAQs about The Organized Mom Planner

The Organized Mom Planner© is a digital planner that replaces a paper planner, and focuses on planning and tracking important aspects of your life like…

  • Family
  • Budgeting
  • Meal Planning
  • Cleaning
  • Journaling
  • Bible Study
  • Holiday Planning
  • and more!

The Undated version contains 600+ pages, while the Dated version contains 800+ pages.

All versions contain hyperlinked buttons and tabs throughout for easy navigation and are all lag-free.

Our digital planner is an in-depth digital PDF file that mimics a paper planner which you can use within a PDF annotation app like GoodNotes 5.

You’ll need three things:

  • Tablet (we recommend iPad as that is the device the planner is formatted and optimized for)
  • PDF Annotation App (like GoodNotes 5)
  • Stylus (optional, but preferred for long-term use)

We also have customers that use their phone and a digital planning app without the need for a tablet or stylus, but for best performance, we strongly recommend using a tablet.

You can use any IOS device such as an iPad, iPhone, or Macbook/iMac. We personally use iPads for the best experience.

It’s worth mentioning that all of our tutorials are based on you using the Goodnotes app on an IOS device.

You don’t have to be a super-techy person to start digital planning but you will need to know how to use your device (iPad or tablet).

We do have video tutorials to explain the steps on how to get started, edit and manage your planners and much more.

Some of our ‘non-techy’ members say that there can be a ‘learning curve’ to get started if you are a total techphobe, but once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s super addictive and your future self will totally thank you!

The planners may work on Android/Windows devices with pdf annotating apps such as Xodo or Noteshelf. However, as the team personally uses Apple products, we cannot provide you with any technical support should you wish to use the product on an Android/Windows device.

Syncing across multiple devices is possible, provided you have achieved all of the following conditions:

1. All of your devices have Goodnotes installed,

2. You are logged in using your iCloud account on all devices, and;

3. You are connected to the internet whenever you make changes.

Lagging refers to the time delays you can experience with digital planners and products when navigating to other pages.

For instance, when you click on a button to jump to another page and your planner takes several minutes to load the new page, this is called lagging.

For professionally made digital planners, this is not an issue, as is the case with our planner, the Organized Mom Planner©.

However, if you DO experience lagging, you may need to delete some files on your iPad/tablet as this can be an indication that you are using too much memory or space on your device, which will cause all apps, programs, and files to load slowly. This would not be an indication of lagging from our files and can be easily remedied by deleting unused files or excess pictures and folders on your device.

This is a great question, and it’s really easy to figure this out.

For iPads, the two PDF Annotation Apps we recommend are GoodNotes 5 (for long-term use) and Notability (free app that is great for beginners on a budget).

GoodNotes 5 requires a software version of 13 or higher, while Notability requires a software version of 14 and higher.

You can check your software version within the Settings app on your iPad. Navigate to ‘General’ and then ‘About’. Perform any updates as necessary to hit that software version requirement.

Older iPads (5-6 years old) may not be able to update to a newer software version, and therefore, would not be compatible with the Organized Mom Planner, nor any other digital planner or planning app.

There are 2 differences between the Undated OMP and Dated OMP:

  • template pages difference (the Dated version carries 200+ more template pages)
  • dates (the Dated version has everything filled out for you, including focus cleaning tasks each day)

If you prefer more freedom and flexibility in your schedule, we recommend the undated version of the Organized Mom Planner©.

But if you thrive on following a plan laid out for you so you can better maximize your efforts without feeling exhausted because you don’t know where to start – we recommend the dated Organized Mom Planner.

If you have any issues with your order, we’re here to help! We’ll try to help you use and make the most out of your new digital planner.

“Out of all the planners I’ve bought, this one takes the cake and has everything I could ever ask for in a planner – highly recommend it!!”

The templates in my Organized Mom Planner are beautiful and simply laid out – there are numerous tabs divided up, and so much attention to detail. I’m so thrilled with my purchase, and knowing that I can use it over and over again through the years is incredible. I love that the planner is lag-free (a huge issue with other digital planners I’ve bought where there’s a crazy log delay between pages), and the file size is super small so it doesn’t take up a ton of space on my iPad. Out of all the planners I’ve bought, this one takes the cake and has everything I could ever ask for in a planner – highly recommend it!!

“Please never stop making these planners!!”

I didn’t realize I was missing so much of my life before I bought this planner. Seriously so much wasted time not knowing where to even begin, this digital planner has been an absolute GODSEND. Please never stop making these planners!!

I’ve saved so much, learned about my family’s shopping and spending habits, and have been able to establish a better cleaning and organizing schedule that helps me keep my sanity.

Seriously, thank you so much.

“I pulled out my planner and followed the plan laid out for the day, and ended up accomplishing a few extra things on my list as well.”

…while I can’t say I have the cleanest house in two weeks after purchasing your planner – I can say this …  I woke up the other day and for the first time EVER, I didn’t wonder how I was going to clean or organize my house that day or whisper to myself ”I just can’t do this effectively”

Instead, I pulled out my planner and followed the plan laid out for the day, and ended up accomplishing a few extra things on my list as well. Can you believe it?”
